Damdama Lake in Gurugram, is a little lake in Haryana was made by a stone and earthen dam built by the British in 1919. The lake, held by a bank, is taken care of mostly by rainwater at the base of the Aravali slopes. The Lake welcomes guests with a water level down to 20 ft (6.1 m). During rainstorm the water level reaches up to 50 ft (15 m) – 70 ft (21 m).
It is a biodiversity zone inside the Northern Aravalli panther natural life passage. this feature of damdama lake makes it the best place for camping near delhi ncr.
Damdama lake is a characteristic home for birds, and in excess of 190 types of birds, transitory just as nearby, visit here during summer, storm and winter season. A portion of the significant birds seen here are water fowl, cranes, cormorants, terns, egrets, kingfishers and so forth While heading to Damdama Lake, you can likewise get a brief look at India’s public bird peacock and blue bulls.

I have visited this place on 19.11.2017 with my family (group of around 25 persons). Children were enjoyed a lot especially zip line, rock climbing, commando bridge and DJ. This place is surrounded by the nature. Very near from Delhi only 1 and half hour drive from Delhi. They have lots of adventure activities for all group of age. Rooftop restaurant is very good as they served very delicious verity of food. You can choose day picnic or overnight stay (tents ) here. Ambience of the place was very good. My overall experience is very good
Place is very good and calm...food they prepare on earthen stoves taste very good they prepare local food also...lot many activities are there conducted in a descent enough way...camp area is also good.. Drawback is the camps are not having any dessert coolers or ac hence it becomes very hot in summer day time and cold in night... Can go in group...staff is helpful
What an amazing place to visit..away from everyday city's hectic life. Me and my family went for a day outing here. Did rock climbing, flying fox, Burma bridge, indoor games and many other adventure activities.had the best of our times ever.. planning to visit again soon. Staff was very courteous and the food was delicious. it's a different experience to just be there and enjoy the incredibility and beauty of nature in itself...So I would say just go guys and enjoy in the lap of mother nature..:)
The location is beautiful and serene...the food prepared on earthen stoves is delicious, and they also produce local cuisine...there are numerous activities available, all of which are performed in a professional manner...the camp area is also excellent. The disadvantage is that the campers do not have any dessert coolers or air conditioning, so it is quite hot during the day and very cold at night...
